Strætó’s 2025 sustainability report presented at annual meeting

Strætó’s sustainability report for 2025 has been published and was presented at the company’s annual meeting, held on Thursday, 26 March. The report contains a wide range of information on Strætó’s operations, including fleet status, services within the route network, technological innovations, and greenhouse gas emissions. The report was prepared with reference to the international GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standard.

At the annual meeting, Alexandra Briem, Chair of the Board, presented the board’s report, and Elísa Kristmannsdóttir, head of finance, presented the company’s financial statements. Finally, Jóhannes Rúnarsson, CEO of Strætó, outlined the company’s key priorities in sustainability and environmental matters.
