Strætó took part in the Reykjavík Pride Parade, as in previous years, and it’s safe to say that joy was everywhere.
When designing this year’s Pride Bus, we decided to celebrate the rainbow, inspired by this year’s Pride slogan: United under the rainbow. The bus was decorated from top to bottom in the colours of the rainbow and certainly stood out in the parade. The advertising agency Hér&Nú designed the Pride Bus, creating a colourful and eye-catching result.
For the second year in a row, Strætó invited neurodivergent people to join the Pride Parade on board the Pride Bus. This gave them the opportunity to take part in the celebrations from a calmer and more comfortable space, helping to reduce sensory overload.
At Strætó, we are all on different journeys, but all together we can travel in the same direction – towards a more equal, diverse and caring society.
