Route 51, Mjódd – Selfoss, and Route 53, Selfoss – Landeyjahöfn, will drive extra trips during Commerce Weekend because of Þjóðhátíð Festival in Vestmannaeyjar 30 July – 3 August 2026.
You can pay the fare on board the bus by payment card or cash. It is not possible to reserve a seat on the bus.
Here below are all trips from Mjódd → Selfoss → Landeyjahöfn:

Landeyjahöfn → Selfoss → Mjódd:
- Monday 3 August
Please be aware that in most cases the same bus will drive both Route 51 and Route 53, but a sign in the front window of the bus will say whether it travels both routes or if a change must be made.
The schedule of Herjólfur is taken from the ferry’s website. Passengers are advised to monitor the ferry schedule and any announcements directly from Herjólfur before boarding the bus to Landeyjahöfn.
