European Mobility Week begins tomorrow 16 September and runs until 22 September.
Mobility Week aims to encourage people to use diverse modes of transport that are sustainable, economical, and beneficial to health. This year´s theme is Mobility for everyone – intergenerational fairness.
In the Capital Area, the week kicks off with the Transport Conference organised by ITS Iceland. It concludes with the Car-Free Day where Strætó in the Capital area will be free of charge.
People are encouraged to utilise diverse transport modes throughout the week. Further information can be found at
